Teaching Style

Worn down by city life and the corporate grind, I discovered that Yoga offered the balance I craved and lifted my spirits. With time and practice, a deep sense of self-love replaced self-doubt and my relationships improved. Inspired during a retreat in Costa Rica (booked to deal with my stressful life), I left Corporate America and received my Hatha Certification at Trio Studios in Miami. Since then, my beautiful and windy path has brought me to the Ecuador Coast where I share my home, delicious vegetarian food, and yoga practice with like minded travelers and yogis. I am not your teacher, but your guide. I weave meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) throughout my classes to help you get in touch with the real teacher, your Higher Self, moving your body from a place of intuition and knowing. I will hold space for you to practice with non-judgment, self love and total acceptance, meeting yourself wherever you are. I will push you physically with challenging yoga sequences, and I will push you spiritually encouraging you to become more mindful of your relationship to self and in turn, the outside world. 

Because many of my students are travelers, they are also seekers who come to me in a uniquely open state of being - The perfect setting to journey inside and uncover a new way of relating to yourself  - with warmth, love, and compassion. You are perfect just the way you are.

     Escape to the Ecuador Coast for a little "Me Time" and watch as the stress melts away and serenity takes over. With daily yoga and meditation, nutritious vegetarian meals, and plenty of activities like Surf Lessons, Spanish Classes, Vegetarian Cooking Classes, and Exploring the Coast, you'll leave healthier and more connected, with a renewed sense of Self Love and Appreciation.
